    With the authentication code, the list of purchased products can be retrieved from the package server without having to store the license data.

    Authentication Code

    With the authentication code, it is possible to retrieve the list of purchased products via the update servers. This, for example, ensures that no updates are offered in the ACP for packages you have no access. In addition, the appropriate update server will be selected when updates for a package are offered from several update servers (for example, some plugins from the plugin store).

    For the installation of updates, it is further mandatory to store the corresponding authentication credentials at the package server. It is therefore secure, also if other users (for example the co-admin) can see the authentication code.

    The authentication code can be entered under Configuration -> General -> System -> Package Servers.

    Package Servers

    For the package server http://udpate.woltlab.com/vortex/ you need the license and serial number of your WoltLab Suite license.

    Username = license number
    Password = serial number

    The license and serial number can be found in the customer area under My Account -> Licenses -> Details.

    For the package server http://store.woltlab.com/vortex/ you need the login credentials of your customer account.
